UMT Tool has just dropped version 3.3 — focused on MTK CPU improvements. It brings Test Point unlocking without Preloader, OFP firmware extraction for MTK phones, new model support, and several important bug fixes. Here's everything you need to know.

Download v3.3 from the UMT Mirror section. After downloading, if the tool doesn't open — enter the password: UMT (capital U, capital T). Many users miss this step!

📍 Biggest Update: Test Point Unlock — No Preloader Needed

Previously, unlocking an MTK phone required selecting a Preloader file. If your phone's Preloader wasn't supported, you were stuck. With v3.3, this is no longer a problem.

Now you can simply select the Brand and Model, open the phone, short the Test Point, and unlock it — no Preloader selection required. This works even for models that don't appear in the regular unlock list.

💡 How to Use Test Point Method

  1. Open UMT v3.3 → go to MTK section
  2. Select your Brand and Model
  3. Skip Preloader selection — not needed anymore
  4. Open the phone and short the Test Point
  5. Connect to UMT — it will detect and unlock automatically

📦 New: OFP Firmware Extraction for MTK Phones

Oppo and Realme firmware files come in .OFP format. Earlier, extracting and converting OFP files was only possible on Qualcomm CPU phones. MTK users had no option inside UMT.

Version 3.3 now adds OFP Firmware Extraction for MTK. You can select your OFP file, extract it, convert it, and use it for flashing — all within the tool.

✅ How to Extract OFP on MTK

  1. Go to MTK OFP Firmware Extraction section in UMT v3.3
  2. Click the option and select your .OFP firmware file
  3. Click Extract — it will convert the file automatically
  4. Use the extracted files for flashing as needed

🐛 Bug Fix: Oppo V4 Unlock Now Works

The Oppo V4 unlock option has existed in UMT for a while, but it barely worked on any device. In v3.3, UMT has fixed the V4 implementation — it should now work correctly on newer Oppo models that require the V4 method.

⚠️ Note on Realme 13

Some newer phones like Realme 13 are currently not unlocking through the regular method. However, using the Test Point method in v3.3 can still get these phones unlocked even when the standard route fails.
